Having been in the cabinet making and millwork industry for 35 years now, I have seen many changes because of technology and innovation.

Mass production allows for convenience and cabinet opening systems have really made our lives easier. But with all the adaptations, what is still needed is the skill and know how of a professional cabinetmaker/woodworker.

Sometimes it could be an alteration or rework of cabinets and furniture pieces. Possibly to freshen up or repair an antique. To have the eye and ability is essential.
